Who we are:
Eric “Taco” Olmstead is a first generation farmer who refused to believe that dead soil was what farmers should grow food in. Having a background in ecosystem management and clean water advocacy, Taco was thrust into farming when his wife was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Clean, healing, nutrient dense food became a necessity for his wife and he simply did not trust organic foods in the grocery store. He took his life and the health of his family into his own hands and he began developing a process to grow nutrient dense greens in a regenerative living soil. Now, he is ready to pass on his knowledge and the experience of many others to farmers in need of a better way to grow and live.
Philosophy:
Our philosophy is simple, we focus on soil microbiology, closed-loop systems and land stewardship to create the perfect farming space for your needs. No more chemicals and no more wasting hard earned revenue on substrates, nutrients and pesticides. Instead a cleaner, simpler way to grow and live.
Mission/Vision:
We are here to heal the land, one soil system at a time.
